General Repair Policy

In-Warranty Repairs

With the exception of winders returned under the provisions of our Out-of-Warranty Flat Rate Repair Policy, we can not accept back a product for repair without a Repair Authorization (RA). A Repair Authorization (RA) is needed for all repairs. Please use this form and include your order number and the reason for the repair. An RA will be sent to you via email. Please place this RA number on the outside of the return package. We will repair or replace, at our option, any JFA watch winder purchased from JFA or from an authorized JFA reseller, provided the winder case has not been opened, or the winder abused or tampered with at any time or in any way, and provided it is returned to us, prepaid and insured. Repairs will be tested, repaired/replaced, tested again then sent back, the repair process may take six to eight weeks.

Step One: Contact us for a Repair Authorization (RA) Number using this form.

Step Two: After you receive an RA number, the winder only needs to be sent with the following info:

• Copy of original invoice
  
• Send the winder unit only, DO NOT include A/C Adaptors or Retaining Springs (unless instructed via email)
  
• Your Return Shipping Information (Name, Address, Phone Number, email)
  
• Return Authorization (RA) Number written on paperwork and exterior of the box.
  
• Brief description of the problem.

Step Three: please indicate on the outside of the box "REPAIR" or direct it to our repair department at:

We will repair or replace, at our option, any JFA watch winder purchased from JFA or from an authorized JFA reseller, provided the winder case has not been opened, or the winder abused or tampered with at any time or in any way, and provided it is returned to us, prepaid and insured.
Out-of-warranty repairs carry a 90-day warranty.

An invoice from JFA or an authorized JFA reseller is required for any repair to be provided.

All repairs or replacements are shipped within six to eight weeks..

Note on multiple repairs: Winders are not eligible for over two out-of-warranty repairs. If you've submitted your winder for repair two times, then the third will not be repaired. We can only replace the unit with a discounted unit. We will contact you with details if we find the winder has been repaired over twice.

Flat Rate Repair Cost:

• JFAE1 or JFAE1i one-watch electric winder: $39 plus $11.50 S&H
• JFABE1/JFABE1i one-watch battery winder: No parts available, contact us for information
• JFAE4/JFAE4i four-watch winder: $75 plus $13.80 S&H
• JFABE2C-1/JFABE2C-2 one or two-watch Classic Winder in Mahogany Wood Cabinet:
  $79 plus $17.25 S&H

Out Of Warranty Repair Procedure

1. Order the corresponding repair online from our website using the order link below. Flat Rate Repair ordered on the Internet will result in an electronic receipt being sent to your email address. Print two copies...one for your records and one to include with your winder.
   

2. Pack your winder ONLY. Do not include retaining springs, AC adapters, etc. (unless instructed via email)
   

3. Make sure you include: a copy of your original sales receipt, a copy of your Out-of-Warranty Flat Rate Repair receipt inside the package with the winder. Make sure you include your Name, Return Shipping Address, Phone Number & email.

4. A brief description of the problem
   

5. Return the winder to us, prepaid and insured. Send to:

6. We will verify your documentation. Repairs will be tested, repaired/replaced (at our discression), tested again then shipped via UPS Ground, the repair process may take six to eight weeks. If your winder is returned to us without a copy of your original sales receipt and a copy of the repair receipt repair, work may be delayed.
