General Returns, Repairs & Refunds Policy

Non-Defective Product Returns

Non-defective returns require a return authorization and must be requested within 30 days of invoice date. All items must be returned PREPAID AND INSURED in the original manufacturer's packing along with all parts, accessories and paperwork. A reason for the return should also be provided. We reserved the right to refuse any return that shows tampering or abuse of any kind.

There will be a 15% restocking fee for items received by us within 45 days of purchase. Accepted returns after 46-59 days subject to 25% restocking fee, attempted returns after 60 days will not be accepted. Modified, damaged or abused products will not be accepted. Contact us for a return authorization (RA) number before sending your item. Items returned for any reason without RA subject to automatic 25% restocking fee.

Customer assumes full responsibility for any kind of damage to any watch from the use of a watch winder, storage box or other related items whether caused by manufacturing defect, negligence or otherwise. Responsibility of seller is limited to replacement or refund of product under the terms of sale, less shipping.

Due to manufacturer policies, any Mulholland Brothers or Sangean Radios returned to JFA will be issued a credit subject to 15% restocking/refurbishing fee and outgoing freight charges.

In addition, due to manufacturer policies, a 30% restocking fee, plus freight, applies to Atlantis and First Alert returns.

Defective Product Returns

We will replace any defective products. Defective returns require a return authorization and must be requested within 30 days of invoice date. Please indicate the nature of the defect. (Loud watch winder motors are not considered defects and will be treated as Non-Defective returns. See above.) All items must be returned PREPAID AND INSURED in the original manufacturer's packing along with all parts, accessories, and paperwork. A reason for the return should also be provided. There will be a 5% restocking fee for any product that is returned and not replaced. Modified, damaged, or abused products will not be accepted. Contact us for a return authorization (RA) number before sending your item.

Please Note When Returning Watch Winders: Watch winders are made with electric motors. Motors are by their nature moving parts. This produces noise. To many this is acceptable and to others it may be considered noisy. We have no control over the sound of the motors and do not consider noise to be a "defect." We will replace any winder that customers consider too loud under our warranty. If you return a winder for replacement, return the winder PREPAID AND INSURED in the original manufacturer's packing along with all parts, accessories, and paperwork. A reason for the return should also be provided. Modified, damaged, or abused products will not be accepted as credit items. If a refund is requested, a minimum 15% restocking fee will apply will apply. Outgoing shipping and handling will not be refunded.

Warranty Policy for Specific Items

When you purchase any product from us, you are entitled to its manufacturer's warranty against defective merchandise. Several of our major manufacturers' policies require that you contact them directly for assistance regarding their products. These manufacturers will repair, return or replace them in accordance with their policies. We are not allowed to accept these products for repair or replacement. Sending them to us will only delay the process. Send us an email with your order number and your request. We will respond with an RA number and the address where to send the merchandise.

If the product you wish to return is not listed above then please follow these simple directions:

A Return Authorization (RA) is needed for all returns, repairs, or refunds. Please contact us with your order number and the reason for the return. An RA will be sent to you via email. Please place this RA number on the outside of the return package. Your RA is valid for receipt of merchandise up to 15 days from the date of issue. After that time your RA number will expire.

Please Note: Personalized items are not returnable unless there is a defect or flaw. We cannot accept returns on customized items. For safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on consumables (popcorn, seasonings, No Jet-Lag tablets, chocolate, etc.) or food preparation items (popcorn poppers, Cork Pops, utensils, etc.).

Packing and Insurance

Return the product PREPAID AND INSURED in factory new condition, in the original box and packing, with all the original paperwork and instructions. Please check to be sure that there are no small items or papers accidentally left in the packing materials and thrown out. Upon receipt we will credit your account for the purchase price, less outgoing shipping and handling charges, and credit card fees or restocking charges assessed by the bank. If you purchased a product that had "Free Shipping" and the product is returned to us, you will be liable for the shipping and handling charges that otherwise would have been added to your original invoice. Those amounts will be deducted from the applicable refund if the product is returned for any reason. Any bonus item included with the sale of a product that is being cancelled or returned must also be returned in new condition or your credit card will be charged the current retail selling price plus shipping and handling.

If You Return a Winder Purchased with a "Buy One-Get One for Half Off" Offer

If you return the half-price winder, you will receive a credit only for the price that was charged for the second (half off) winder, less applicable restocking or refurbishing charges. You will not receive a credit for 50% of the cost of both winders purchased with the offer.

If you return the full-price winder, the half-price winder is considered a full-price winder purchase. You will receive a credit for the full-price winder less the regular cost of the second winder included as part of the "Buy One-Get One for Half Off" offer, less applicable restocking or refurbishing charges.

Where to Send Returns

Contact us for a return authorization (RA) number before sending your item. For your protection, ship return packages insured via UPS, FedEx or the U.S. Postal Service. Please note that you are responsible for all shipping costs and for properly packing the return to ensure the safe shipment of each item. Allow two weeks for processing. All returns should be sent via insured carrier for the same amount as your original invoice. All returns, no matter which carrier you select, should require a signature upon delivery. Repairs

We provide warranty repairs only for JFA watch winders. Any other products must be sent to the manufacturer for warranty repair.

With the exception of winders returned under the provisions of our Out-of-Warranty Flat Rate Repair Policy, we can not accept back a product for repair or exchange without a Return Authorization (RA). A Return Authorization (RA) is needed for all returns, repairs, or refunds. Please contact us with your order number and the reason for the return. An RA will be sent to you via email. Please place this RA number on the outside of the return package.

  • Products not manufactured by JFA are not to be sent to JFA but to the manufacturer. However, you need to obtain an RA for those returns as well. Contact JFA for an RA for Driver's Seats. Contact Atlantis, Gold Metal, Grundig and La Crosse Technology directly for the RA.

Items returned without an RA may not be processed, or lost, or mishandled by the manufacturer. We can not be responsible for any return without a RA.

Please Note: Due to the policy change at UPS we can not issue call tags for defective or items to be returned for credit. Please request an Return Goods Authorization number and return any merchandise for credit using UPS, USPS, FedEx or some other carrier that will offer insurance.

Cancellation Policy

To cancel your order: Cancellation must be received before 3:30pm CT M-F the date of purchase or a 3.5% bank credit card fee will be deducted from the total purchase amount. Credit cards are electronically processed M-F at 3:30pm CT, after which time the bank fee is assessed and can not be refunded for cancelled orders. Please call 312-527-9112 or use this form to cancel orders. Cancelled weekend or holiday orders will be subject to the bank processing fee.

Return Policy for Gently Used Watches:

Buyer understands that the condition of any used watch is the basis for the selling price.

Each watch is unique, one of a kind. Any change to its condition could seriously alter its value. Watches that are not returned in a timely manner or altered in any way subject the watch value to deterioration. It is our intent to offer a fair description and accurate photographs of each watch. We are happy to provide any other information that assists a potential buyer. However, we do understand that most buyers need to "see the merchandise." What we want to avoid is any situation that compromises the integrity of the watch or the timely return to the marketplace. To be as fair as possible, we have provided the following simple terms which are conditions to any of our used watch sales.

BUYER AGREES TO THE RETURN AND REFURBISHING CONDITIONS DETAILED BELOW.

  1. Watches may be returned and received no later than fifteen (15) days after date on invoice in the same shipping container, in the same condition. Watches returned after that time will be subjected to a minimum 15% restocking charge in addition to #4. JFA reserves the right to refuse any watch returned after 15 days without prior authorization and RA number issued.
  2. All watches that are returned will be inspected.
  3. Should a watch be returned with any signs of misuse, alteration, or removal of battery, links, or other parts, JFA reserves the right to charge buyer accordingly.
  4. Credit cards will receive return credit, less shipping and handling, and any restocking or refurbishing charges. Buyer will be informed of charges We will make notification in the same manner (email, Fax, or US Mail) as the order was received.
